The food was top notch. The staff was friendly on arrival and answered any questions about the menu. I made two separate orders and had no issues putting them together. Food was made fast and hot. The location is a bit confusing to navigate. I would recommend calling when you arrive.

Disclaimer: I ate here last year so I know... the review is late. I came here with my gf around noon and it was empty at the time. This place is located inside a mini food hall called Rodeo X. We ordered the Spicy Kimchi Butter Chicken Katsu Sandwich, Regular Kimchi Butter Chicken Katsu Plate, Spam Brulee Musubi and everything tasted really good. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and tender while the sauce brought it up another level (for both the sandwich and katsu plate). The spam brulee was a nice surprise too as I'd never had something like it. The spam to rice ratio was perfect and the sauce added sweet and salty notes. My mouth was partying the whole time. Service was average and the ambiance was nothing special. The food was definitely the start of the show and I'll be coming back soon to try more things here.

I found this gem on Instagram. I've been wanting to try it. Today, I was craving Hawaiian food. My husband loves a good crispy chicken so I thought I would take out and bring it home to him. I'm glad I did. This little business is located inside the Rodeo X food court in Ontario Ranch. It is a very nice and fun food hall. I came on a Saturday around 1130a.m. they had just opened but there was a short line. The gentleman who rung me up was no nonsense. He was all business, not friendly. The one who gave me my food was much nicer. The spam brulee was so different. It was sweet and salty. Very interesting! I liked it alot. I wished there was more spam though. It didn't matter I wanted to save room for my sandwich. I got their 2 sandwiches for $14 deal. One for me and one for my husband. I got the Spicy kimchi butter chicken. Wow! It was so good. The chicken was crunchy. The sauce was good. And they topped it with macaroni salad. I loved it. The only thing was my chicken had some kind of tendon left in it that I could not eat. My husband's regular chicken sandwich was just as good and didn't have the tendon. I am glad I have Shootz a try!

SOOOO GOOD! My friend bought back a kimchi butter shrimp and spam masubi for me and they were both INSANELY good despite not eating it right away too. I will definitely be back!

The food is very delicious . Chicken is very juicy . The lemonade is so fresh. My favorite order is kimchi burger .

Pretty solid Hawaiian fusion in the IE (not common here imo) but it does seem I was a bit late to the party as they have decreased their menu options vs what i've seen online. However the food was still great, just in a not-so-great location (i'd definitely try the other locations if i'm in the area). Food (8/10) Opted for the #2 wavy bundle (2 kimchi butter katsu chicken sandwiches + 2pc spam brûlée musubi. Upgraded to the strawberry pineapple refresher for a drink, which was great and not overbearingly sweet. The sandwiches (one spicy one regular) were tasty, i really like the complex flavors with the mac salad, brûlée'd sugar, the well seasoned and crispy (but pretty greasy) spicy chicken (regular one lacked a bit in flavor), the sweet (moist!) bun everything just pairs delectably. Their musubi flavor was a new take for me (id get them again!) most i've had have been very...plain/dry compared to this. Never visited the islands, can't speak too much on authenticity but the portion sizes for the flavors and cost were reasonable. Service (7/10) As per my standard 7, this is an order-at-the-counter spot with not much server interaction, so there wasn't much to note. Went during slow hours so food came out fast. Ambiance (7/10) Mentioned above, the food was great but the location lacks. Not entirely their fault, just not very lively in that food hall which is also pretty small, even in terms of seating. The restaurant itself is also tiny.

Had the Kimchi Butter Katsu Chicken and strawberry pineapple lemonade. It was so good! The chicken had a nice and crunchy outside! The service was friendly and fast!

The food here is FREAKING AWESOME! So hard to find really good food in the IE! The staff was very courteous and made me feel right at home. I highly recommend this place.

This is our first time around this area, so we found Shootz in the food court/hall area that shares a space with other vendors. Although, there's only really the beer garden area and another pizza store while a lot of the space seems very vacant. There's a lot of space and tables to dine. It seems like Shootz and the beer area is honestly the only place that's keeping this food hall alive haha. We ordered the #2 combo, which came with two Kimchi Butter Chicken Sandwiches (both spicy), two brulee musubis, and a drink. It honestly didn't take too long for the order to finish, so their service is quite fast! Trying out the chicken sandwich, it's definitely a lot smaller when you hold it compared to all the photos you see online. Though, it is definitely super flavorful! The chicken was nicely crispy and really juicy! The mac salad was an interesting choice, but it honestly paired well with the sandwich. It balanced off the heavy friedness of the chicken, and it was more of a refreshing taste to have with the sandwich. Really good! The brulee musubi honestly wasn't really anything special. It almost tasted like a sushi roll, but with spam. This was also a lot more smaller than a regular spam musubi, but slightly bigger than a sushi roll. I would pass on this one next time.
